Help with Registering

When you register as a KisaanKranti user you can bid on/ submit quotes to buy/sellagriculture produce and purchase items on the website. We never share your personal information without your consent. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Registration as Individual

To register, go to the registration page, and follow these steps:

1. Enter your information.
You'll be asked to enter your name, email address and mobile number, select a category, UserID and choose a password. If you're attempting to buy, sell, or contact a user, we may also ask you to provide contact information.

When you click Submit, you're agreeing that you've accepted and will abide by the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.

2. Review your confirmation.
You'll see a confirmation message with your email address and a KisaanKranti user ID that you have chosen. A verification email email will be sent to your email Id. You will need to verify your email Id by clicking on the link in the email or by copying and pasting the link in the web browser.

A verification SMS will also be sent to your mobile with a code. You will need to enter the code on the website to verify your mobile number.

If you would like to change or correct any of your information, just go to My Account, click the Account tab and go to Personal Information.

You're all set! We may need to ask you for a few more pieces of information as you start to buy, sell on the website.

Registering two accounts

Some users find that having two accounts is better if they are selling as well as buying items, or to sell different kinds of items. We allow creating two accounts with following conditions:

  • Both accounts must have different user IDs and different email addresses.
  • The two accounts can never be used in the same listing.

 

Registering as a Business

When you register as a KisaanKranti user, you have the option of registering as a business. The process is essentially the same as for individual user, with the additional advantage of being able to add your business name to your account.

If you already have an individual account, you can change your account to a business account.

When to register as a business
Choose a business account if you:

  • Sell items that you have bought to resell.
  • Sell items that you have produced/manufactured yourself to sell.
  • Sell a large amount of goods on a regular basis.
  • Sell new items that you have not acquired for your personal use.
  • Buy items for your business.

Advantages of a business account
Business sellers can register with a company name. That company name will be displayed in all communication with the buyer, such as invoices and emails.

Business sellers can display contact details and terms and conditions in all of their listings.

When you click Submit, you're agreeing that you've accepted and will abide by the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.

Change your account type

If you have already registered, you can change your account type.

 

Choosing a User ID

A user ID is the unique name you use to identify yourself on KisaanKranti and can be seen by all KisaanKranti users. Your user ID is displayed when you buy or sell on KisaanKranti or communicate with other KisaanKranti users. However, other users won't be able to see your real name and other personal information except during the process of auction of agriculture produce when buyer and seller information is presented to facilitate further transaction.

You use your user ID and password to sign into KisaanKranti. When you register, choose a user ID that you like and that you'll remember.

Remember that user IDs can contain letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), and/or some symbols, and must be at least four characters long. The most secure user IDs contain a combination of all of the above options. Your user ID can only include letters, numbers, periods, asterisks, underscores, or dashes.

What Can't Include in a User ID

  • Any characters except letters, numbers, periods, asterisks, underscores, or dashes.
  • Spaces or tabs. Tip: You can use a hyphen to represent a space.
  • Elements that imply an email address or Web Address (for example, abc.com), including but not limited to .com, .net, .org, .in, or any variation of such (for example, _com or -com). Your User ID can, however, contain an element of an email address or Web Address that, when viewed outside the context of the email address or Web Address, identifies you or your brand (for example, abc).
  • Consecutive underscores __.
  • An underscore _, hyphen -, or period . at the beginning or end of a User ID (for example, -naresh or naresh_ or .naresh).
  • The word KisaanKranti either as it is or in any other way (for example, Kisaan-Kranti)
  • Obscene or profane words that violate KisaanKranti's guidelines.
  • A user ID that is similar to the name of a KisaanKranti Storefront.
  • A term that is similar to, or might be confused with, a third-party's trademark or brand (for example, JohnDeereSeller).

If you received the message "This user ID is not allowed", you might have included one or more characters or spaces that are not allowed in a user ID.

You can manage your account information and settings in My Account. Click My Account at the top of most KisaanKranti pages.

Change your personal information

You can change your personal information, including your user ID, email address, password, secret question, phone number, profile, and PIN, from the Personal Information section of My Account.

To change your personal information:

  • Go to My Account
  • Click the Personal Information link.
  • Click Edit next to the information you want to update.

Some Guidelines

  • Don't use a fax or pager number as your telephone number.
  • If you change your email address, you need access to the new email address to complete the process. The new address takes effect immediately.
  • Email addresses that automatically forward to another email address may cause emails from us to be blocked or sent to your junk mail folder.

 

Change your address

You can change your registration, payment, or primary shipping address from the Addresses section of My Account.

To change your addresses:

  • Go to My Account > Account
  • Click Addresses.
  • Click Change next to the address you want to update.


You can change your email address from the Personal Information section of My Account.

To change your email address:

  • Go to My Account > Account
  • Click Personal Information.
  • Next to Registered email address, click Edit.

 

Change your communication preferences

You can change which notifications you receive and how often you receive them from the Communication Preferences section of My Account.

To change your communication preferences:

  • Go to My Account > Account
  • Click Communication Preferences.
  • Click Show All at the top of the page to see your current settings and change your preferences.

 

Manage your seller account

You can check your balance, change your automatic payment method or credit card information, make a onetime payment, and more from the Seller Account section of My Account.

To view and update your seller account information:

  • Go to My Account.
  • Click the Account tab.
